以上時態都是用在對過去狀況的推測，如果用在假設語氣句型的主要子句，有時可以表示這不是事實：
If it had not rained yesterday, he might have come.(表示主要子句為非事實的過去）
Can he have said so. = Is it possible that he has said so?
He might have read it. = Perhaps he has read it.
You must have been very tired yesterday. = I am sure that you were very tired yesterday.
He must have had an accident or he would have been here by now.
must屬無時態變化的助動詞，might在表示可能性較低時，也是無時態變化，所以用在表對現在的推測時，用must/might +原形，用在對過去的推測時，用must/might＋完成式。LV超3A名牌購物網
